Who is eligible?
InvestU supports early-stage startups with a meaningful connection to Arizona State University. Eligible founders include:
- Companies affiliated with ASU entrepreneurial programs (Venture Devils, ScaleU, Mayo Clinic and ASU Health Care Accelerator…etc)
- ASU alumni (undergraduate, graduate, Thunderbird)
- Current ASU students building venture-ready companies
- ASU faculty and staff with commercializable research
- Startups licensing technology from ASU labs or research centers
What we look for
Successful InvestU companies typically have the following characteristics:
- Full-time management team with past venture experience
- Early commercial traction
- Unique technology and clear competitive moat
- Addressing a large market with a strategy to produce venture scale returns
- Raising $200K – $2M in Seed to Series A equity capital
